UniTech Global is a working partnership between the leaders in the nuclear and safety industries. UniTech is the world leader in contaminated laundry processing services. We opened the first commercial nuclear decontamination laundry in 1957 and now operate twelve fixed base facilities in the United States. Our 500+ employees service about 80% of operating U.S. commercial power reactors; all U.S. Navy Nuclear Shipyards; and a number of fuel fabrication, manufacturing, and Department of Energy National Laboratory facilities (see attached client lists).

In addition to contaminated laundry services, we lead the industry in value-oriented radiological protection products and services. UniTech has invested heavily in process technology and new product development. As a result, we are the first-choice source for clients seeking state-of-the-art laundry services, protective clothing designs, and leasing programs. We engage a comprehensive in-house engineering staff to support our fixed plants, on-site services, and client needs.
In 1996, UniTech received ISO 9002 Quality Certification after several years of preparation. The designation reflects our commitment to standardized, monitored, and auditable procedures in all aspects of our operations.
In recent years, the Company has begun international expansion, first in Europe with a fixed plant in Coevorden, Holland to serve the region's nuclear industry. We are currently exploring Ukraine and Russian markets, receiving strong interest in our skills and technologies.

UNITECH SERVICES GROUP
UniTech's major source of revenue is derived from turnkey contaminated laundry services at our twelve fixed location plants in the United States. In addition we pioneered protective clothing lease programs which relieve our clients of capital purchase, clothing maintenance, and disposal costs.
Through our relationships with industry clients, UniTech develops new products that provide greater comfort, protection factors, and garment life - reducing disposal costs. Our new ProTech 2000 line represents a highly successful cooperative development by UniTech, Dupont, PFG, as well as a leading university textile school.
With input from our customers, we have engineered a variety of launderable industrial products from protective clothing to tool bags and mopheads. We supplement our line with those of other manufacturers who meet our quality standards and applications. For the many satisfied UniTech clients, we define industry standards for all protective clothing needs.
The Company also provides an array of field services through our On-Site Services Division located in Columbia, South Carolina. In addition to technical field personnel, UniTech On-Site builds and operates several mobile process facilities including laundry, respirator cleaning, maintenance, and testing, and metal decontamination. The self contained operations are trailered to the client site and operated by UniTech personnel for short and long durations.

As a wholly owned subsidiary of UniFirst Corporation, UniTech shares the substantial capitalization and the professional management of our parent organization.
